Got a raise and a bonus

The raise is small but welcome. The bonus is quite large. I can pay what we owe in taxes and still have a lot left. Good times.

More importantly, I really love my job and the company is awesome. I’m very thankful and grateful. Have a pretty Mustang for your time.

Thanks! I’m going to dump it into my savings account and let it sit for a while until I figure out what bill I'm going to apply it to. I'm making an effort to really wipe out some debt and I've paid off four accounts so far.

I had no idea it was going to be this week. I knew we were supposed to be getting one but I thought it was going to be near the end of March. It was a total surprise.

Thanks! It's so nice to actually feel like management not only appreciates me but they actually show it regularly. I really wish everyone gets a chance to experience it at some point. My quality of life has significantly improved over the last year because of it.

It feels better than buying whatever you bought via credit in the first place! I got a big bonus around the holidays and wiped out my cc debt.

Either directly or indirectly. Every bit of debt I pay off gets me closer. I was tempted to pay a big chunk of the bonus on the Cube, but it’s the lowest interest debt I have so I think I’ll try to pay  off some cards instead.

Def do the cards first. Not owing on a credit card has the biggest impact on your financial health.

That is true. And then you get cash back and it’s a major thrill.
